April 10, 2023 at 4:50 pm Hi guys, I have just tried priming the fuel button after leaving it for a few days. I have been re-reading the posts and wanted to see if it would now take more pumps to prime and return fuel to the tank and it literally took the one press and it returned fuel. Sorry to keep on here but I am learning all this as we go. Thanks Guys, Doug.

    • Diesel View to Vessel View 1.5 question

November 20, 2021 at 8:34 am Hello, I’ve read all the great info on here regarding SmartCraft but just need a short answer. I found a used Vessel View 1.5 unit and would like to use it to replace the old Diesel View. Is this as simple as plug and play? Connectors on the back look the same. I realize the mounting hole would need to be enlarged a bit. Just wondering about the harnesses. Thanks in advance.

March 29, 2023 at 5:30 pm Took my aftercooler in for testing at Niemic my local Cummins dealer and the core bundle had pinholes and there is pitting in the housing right up to the oring seals. Bought the boat last year, it and the engine are 1998, so time for a new one. Niemic tells me these are out 100 days. So I called Seaboard and the helpful parts guy told me they have the core, but similar bad news on the housing. He also told me that Seaboard is working on its own …

March 31, 2023 at 9:00 am I recently noticed quite a bit of water in my bilge when I took my boat out for a day trip. April 4, 2023 at 10:31 am That looks like the oil drain off the turbo. It takes the oil out of the turbo, back to the crankcase. Both of my metal lines had heavy rust in the back. The leak might be that, the clamps that connect the pipe to the block. Ā I would tighten the clamps, inspect the metal line and see if that solves the problemĀ
