SMX Bronze Tee Adapter and Freshwater Flush System

This fresh water flush kit is built off of a bronze “Tee” adapter that can be placed in a convenient location on the suction side of your raw water circuit. An easy way to introduce fresh water before or after the sea strainer when performing a fresh water flush. Comes with the “tee,” 3/4″ Ball Valve, a Male hose adapter, and a hose thread cap.
Material: Bronze
Note: The smaller 1″ and 3/4″ hose sizes are made from a Red Brass Tee and Two Hose adapters. Feel free to steal this idea and make one yourself, but make sure you use a Groco Ball Valve.
Hose Size: 1.75″ or 2″. 3/4″ straight (NPST) thread for alarm switch or Freshwater Flush Valve.

Just installed this kit as instructed in Tony’s Tips between the raw water screen and raw water pump. I keep the through-hull open throughout the flushing process. It’s great how the raw water screen gets back-flushed when engine is turned off. Looking for same solution for generator now. Excellent maintenance product that will add years of life to my engine components. Thank you.
