RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

Our goal is that you are satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, simply call 805-382-6287 to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization if applicable.
Returns will be accepted within 90 days of date of invoice. Please include your original invoice in the package. Return policies may vary. Certain specialized custom products are not refundable. We do not accept product returns on electrical equipment. Please call to confirm specifics of custom orders to insure accuracy. Items must arrive in a like-new condition. Items that are damaged, unsanitary, dented, scratched or missing major contents may be denied a return.

Where applicable, a 15% – 25% restocking fee may be charged.

Special orders cancelled after 24 hours of purchase are subject to a 25% order cancellation fee.

STORAGE POLICY FOR SALES OF SERIALIZED GOODS

The seller (Seaboard Marine, Inc.) must hold conforming goods and give the buyer reasonable notice to take delivery. It is our policy to hold conforming goods no longer than 30 calendar days (unless otherwise agreed to writing) after complete transfer of funds have been tendered to seller and receipt of sale has been furnished to the buyer. After this 30 day period, the seller reserves the right to enforce storage fees against conforming goods at $50 USD per month (30 days) for engines and/or transmissions and no more than $50 USD per month (30 days) for other goods. Partial storage days will be prorated at $1.6666 per day. The seller meets its duty of delivery when it delivers the goods to the carrier, attaches any required documentation and properly notifies the buyer of shipment.

DELIVERY / SHIPPING POLICY

Seaboard Marine uses UPS package delivery for the majority of product shipments. We also in special circumstances ship via U.S. Postal Service and Special Freight Carrier Delivery Services. Not all methods are available for all items.

DELIVERY TIME:

An estimated delivery time will be provided to you once your order is placed. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order.
Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfill your order within [2] business days of the date of your order. Business day means Monday to Friday, except holidays. Please note we do not ship on [Sundays]. Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments.

DELIVERY METHODS & TERMS:

UPS package delivery is our primary method of shipping. In addition to standard shipping we offer Expedited (2-day air) and Premium (overnight) shipping options on many products. Additional fees are charged for Expedited and Premium shipping.

U.S. Postal Service is used to ship all orders to APO addresses.

Standard and Premium Freight Carrier Delivery is used for items that require special handling, are over-sized, or weight over 150 pounds.

We ship to all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Guam and APO addresses. For orders generating from other countries, please call 805-382-6287 to ascertain whether or not we can ship to your location, and to determine the best shipping method.

Shipping charges are based upon your location, the weight and dimensions of the items.

WARRANTY

We want you to buy from us with confidence. If a product proves to be defective, you can return the item for replacement or refund. Certain products that we sell are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Most of the products we sell are simple to return, however there are a few exceptions and restrictions. Please ask for warranty coverage at time of purchase.
