Choosing the right Fuel lines for your vessel

When choosing the proper fuel line for your vessel,  basically 4 main criteria concerns need to be addressed:

  • Is the vessel a USCG Passenger Carrying vessel operating under CFR Sub-Chapter-T or K rules? If the answer is yes, then you can stop here. Our BLUEFIN A360 hose is made specifically to meet and exceed the requirements of SAE J1527 USCG approved hose and applicable fittings. This is the spec that you must meet for inspected vessels.
  • If your vessel is not a USCG inspected vessel, but your personal requirements are that you want to maintain the vessel to USCG standards, then this hose will meets those needs. Plus, if you are tired of ”hose clamps and barbs”, and want Hydraulic type fittings for all, this is the solution — all common JIC, SAE and SAE O-Ring face seal fittings in all the applicable sizes are available.
  • Are you replacing pre-existing hoses that came on your engine of this type? Cummins engines are typical ones that use AEROQIP FCV234 and Parker 221FR for fuel lines. We can match any of them and/or custom make to you your specific needs.
  • Note: Be sure to review current USCG, as well as any other applicable regulations before purchasing any fuel hose or plumbing for an inspected vessel to ensure proper compliance.

Sizes: Currently we offer 5 sizes that fit 90+% of engines in the 50-700 HP range
