QSL 9 Glendinning tach connection

Hi, 

 

   Is there a tach signal avail on the C connect premier for tach signal? Best option In order to sync and the cooling  hose route goes right over the flywheel tach port making it difficult to install a mag pick up?

Still got to sort this out for sycro. The hole for a flywheel tach sender can not be used without mods so is ther a kit like the older Cummins off front of engine for a tach gen?

Thank you for the reply! Cummins syst c command connect with display in the CIB box that they called premier, All components new, Glendinning SMACT 2  basic syst. I have been talking to glendinning and they said they only do the electronic hook up version no nema, and leave it up to installer to get a signal thru mag with an interface box, mechanical driven tach sender, just nothing open loop  that has an + or – 25RPM error, or in some cases, direct to tach gauge IE outboards. I was just wondering what options are avail before I call them back.

New purchase and new installation, or ?  Glendinning manuals are very good.. Exact model of your GD system as “premier” does not ring a bell–Is this something very old?
