    Hi there I am new to this forum. I have replaced 3 prime lift pumps on the above port motor in 7 years. There was a spare on board when I purchased the boat (Riviera 37 2008) so we are assuming one had been replaced prior. The starboard motor has never had an issue. Seems to me that there is another issue on the port motor causing these pumps to fail. I have been told the pumps are notorious at failing but this seems to be too much of a coincidence in my view. Appreciate any thoughtsĀ  Ā
