Had a marine electrician onboard yesterday to chase down an unrelated issue.  He found this rag wrapped around a hose on the starboard facing side of the starboard engine.  I can’t crawl in that spot, hence why it has gone unnoticed.

The rag appeared to be absorbing some kind of oil leak.  Obviously, I would feel much better if I had it replaced ASAP.  Can you please tell what it’s for and what part number I need to order?

Note: Second photo (the one without the rag) is of my port engine’s starboard side that I took from further back to get a better point of reference.

    Turbo Oil Drain

That looks like the oil drain off the turbo. It takes the oil out of the turbo, back to the crankcase. Both of my metal lines had heavy rust in the back. The leak might be that, the clamps that connect the pipe to the block.  I would tighten the clamps, inspect the metal line and see if that solves the problem
