April 27, 2024 at 1:40 pm Hello guys, I will be draining and replacing coolant on my 2005 Mainship for my first time. Ā In reviewing your technical info, you show a drain plug at the red arrow, but mine does not have a plug there. Ā I do see a plug at the other end of this tube, as shown in my photos where my finger is pointing (the next is the close up one is from underneath the tube). Ā Wondering if you can confirm if this would be the drain plug, and if you have any tips…

April 8, 2024 at 1:01 pm Iā€™ve read the other posts here on this topic with no luck. Every initial startup, the belt squeaks for 5-10min. Then no noises the rest of the day. Iā€™ve Ā replaced belt, fresh water pump, raw water pump, tensioner, and alternator. Iā€™ve noticed a lot more belt dust on that motor than the other and am at my wits end. March 27, 2024 at 9:14 am Curious if there is any specification or guidance on tightening these hose clamps.Ā  My impression is that the spring needs to have some give both to tighten and loosen to allow expansion.Ā  Ā Anyone have any advice vs just tightening them ‘tight’ like normal hose clamps.

November 26, 2022 at 4:28 pm Doing my end-of-season oil change on my QSC 8.3ā€™s and I pulled the port on-engine oil filter and it was borderline empty! Is this something I should be concerned about? It is not a ā€˜remoteā€™ filter, and is located right on the middle side of the engine.Ā  My oil pressures all season were 52-55 PSI between both engines when running. Now theyā€™re 55 on starboard, 75 on port, but this is also just at idle at the docks, so maybe Port would drop down wh…
