    Good day,

Considering removing the fuel cooler on my QSB 5.9 480.

Has anyone on this forum removed the fuel cooler off of their QSB 5.9?

Any performance issues or any issues going forward after removal ?

    Thank you,

    Bill DĀ

I would think it would be as simple as taking the 2 lines off the cooler and connecting them together.Ā

    Bill,

As the article explains removal of the fuel depends on the circumstances of each vessels operation, NOT whether someone has done it. .Ā  Ā By far most operators stay stock “just because” and don’t want to think outside the box…………..In your case, just remove it and you’ll never look back.Ā
