Hi After replacing  my start battery, the engine will not start, and I get errors on my Vessel view.

    1. DRVP input low.
    2. Emergency stop error.

I checked round and found the Battery Man, had not connected the negative cable for the engine start circuit, only connected the through negative for the Thruster Batteries. I have now connected it correctly, but the engine will still not start, and gives me the error codes above. What is DRVP ?? Would appreciate any comments

    Problem Solved

Found the fault before the mechanic came out, faulty emergency stop switch.

Thank you for your replies, I have a Diesel mechanic coming to check out the fault today, hopefully he can find the fault.

Maybe your Battery Man reversed polarity to one circuit then corrected it , leaving off the ground intentionally to hide his error.

I do not know the exact meaning of DRVP (drive power?), but it is possible the incompetent battery man did not hook up the “unswitched power” to the electronic control system for the engine.

For pictures take a look at another current topic.

Wiring direct to battery or incorrect
