April 2, 2023 at 3:24 am Hi Guys While I have the aftercooler and HX etc off the engine its far easier to pull the impeller (its actually the only way on the port engine being so crammed in cose to the fuel tanks) On pulling the impeller out a chrome ‘cup’ and spring came out.Ā  Now I understand that the DJ pumps pump is similar to the SBmar pump however i have no doubt that it has some Tony tweaks to it.Ā  Looking at the exploded diagram of the pump I found o…

April 2, 2023 at 5:20 am Hi Guys Has anyone produced a timing gear cover with PTO mount that can be used for mounting the pump on? My boat on the port engine is a pig.. very serious pig to change. To do easily the aftercooler and HX have to come off (HX so i can stand and bend over the engine) everything is done pretty much one handed and can take anything from 4-6 hours. September 1, 2021 at 5:36 am So about to put my intercooler back together and it has the typical pitting on the internal circular face at the bottom of the body casing, it doesnt cause any issues with sealing, however I was wondering if it was worth filling the pits with a skim of JBweld or something like JB tankweld putty just to prevent condensation etc from reacting and pitting even further?
