1 year ago July 21, 2022 at 12:55 pm Cummins 6bta m3Ā Alternator failed so new one installed and voltage was erratic and while cruising after full warm up the green pre heat light would flash and voltage would drop so Iām guessing a temp sensor or solenoid is bad! I would love to by pass the system but when I pulled the fuse Ā the green light pre heat stays on all the time Any thoughts? Iāve read all I can find but no mention of the light on all the time Ā Ā

People with this engine (but different boats) seem to cruise at around 2500 rpm.Ā In terms of fuel economy my boat seems to have a plateau between 2500 and 3000 rpm (see the attached chart), where the boat is burning about the same amount of fuel per 100km but obviously getting there faster at higher rpm.Ā My question is if running the engines at about 280…

I was checking out a leak in my dripless and tried to run up to WOT a couple of weeks ago and found that my port engine would not rev past 2450. September 27, 2019 at 4:55 am I have a 2005 Searay 390 MY with a pair of 480 CEs, 370 hrs. The Smartcraft display is in good condition however it dosent display boost or exhaust temp readings. I seem to recall reading that there are sensors for these on board the engines but readings can not be displayed on the Smartcrap. I think I recall reading that they can be read with the right diagnostic software. My question is this… can I install guages that will display these …

For Boost and X temp I bought Seaboards Turbocator package. Easy to install and independent from other systems. I wish I could display other data on my Ray displays. I was having a heck of a time priming it with the lift pump so I installed a primer bulb as I have seen Tony recommend on almost every instance of this situation. July 11, 2022 at 7:06 am I have a lag at 15 hundred to 17 hundred then it spools up, after coolers done this year, 2650 rpm, no black smoke, 38 tiara , was going to try your lazy aneroid but wanted to know how much adjustment, do not have an air supply to test, was going to trial after adjustment, how much adjustment? I can get an air supply but do not no that procedure?
