    • Yanmar 4LHA STE Port Engine Lag

June 4, 2018 at 5:05 pm My port engine is struggling getting past 1800 RPMs as I increase speed to get up on plane. It seems to lag behind the starboard engine by 400-600 rpms and eventually catches up with the starboard engine to get up on plane and max RPMs. Any suggestions on where to start?

Plot your GPH at the RPM’s listed in the chart and comparing that to the printed GPH will tell what is needed to be told..
