      October 26, 2019 at 8:09 am This might seem like a silly question but… I reciently had the oil changed and when I checked to dip stick for oil level it showed above the full line. My question is do you check the level with the dip stick fully seated or do you check without fully seating the dip stick to the lock position? Thanks, Jon Arnold

      October 2, 2022 at 9:31 am Checking the engine oil level should be done 3 or 4 times yearly with a dipstick. This is a boat engine maintenance process that ensures the optimal performance of an engine. It is to make sure the boat can continue to run smoothly.

      May 14, 2019 at 7:28 pm I am interested in replacing my Mercury marine smart craft computer. I have a 2009 Meridian with twin 5.9 cummins diesels. I have been told that because I also have a DTS throttle control system that I cannot replace the smart craft with an after market system. Is that true? What are my options? Thanks, Jon Arnold

The system referenced above will replace everything SmartCraft on your boat physically including the harnessing and start/stop key(s), etc.

      March 22, 2020 at 2:41 pm I have a 341 meridian with dual 5.9 Cummins with vessel view and digital throttle control. Yesterday I lost throttle control on the port engine. It will shift into gear but will not throttle up. Only idle speed. Any suggestions? Jon arnold
