    Smartcraft says everything is OK
Might be time for an upgrade.

Leave manual gauge installed and run it.
Qsl9 has same problem. New sensor wonā€™t fix it. Be prepared for more false alarms to show up. Good luck.

Is there any way to get rid of the smartcraft wiring and go to all mechanical or electric gauges in an analog panel?
Installed an electric temp gauge today so I can see engine temp when my vessel view is covered in alarm screen. Junk.

    Yes almost 11000 hours

No physical seawater flow sensor or fuel level sensor.
Gear temp and gear pressure sensors are on gear cooler and were working properly.
Alarms were out of the blue on way in the other day.
Watched gear temp go from 135 to 270 then drop back to 135. Low seawater flow alarm triggered when gear temp increased. Gear oil level ok.
Removed hose from aftercooler to gear cooler. Clean no blockage.
    Cleaned seawater strainer
Changed impeller in raw water pump
Checked sensor connections on gear cooler, Ok.
Reset vessel view to factory settings
Turn key on and gear temp reads -56 then jumps around. Reads same with sensor unhooked. Alarm No sim data.
Pictures are from the day alarm first started

Replaced air intake manifold sensor (boost pressure). No change. One other qsl9 in Maine with same fault code was fixed by replacing it so figured it was worth trying.

Dash. Coolant temp so I can see it when vessel view display is filled with alarm screen. Thank you

Where is the best place to install a temperature sender for mechanical temp gauge?

Oil pressure normal all day on mechanical gauge.

Every time rpm reaches 1100 pressure drops to 0.0 and sets off alarm on vessel view.
Rpm over 1100 pressure reads 69.6. Run long enough between traps at 69.6 and fault clears itself displays OK. Slow down to pick up next buoy and alarm goes off again.

Oh how I love my Smartcrap electronics

Got longer hose as you suggested Tony. Took out another plug, installed hose there. Left sender in. Is there a way I can splice wires together on sender unit plug so ECM will read 69.6 continuously so alarm won’t be triggered?

Thank you. I’ll find out about limp mode tomorrow. Going to try hauling with mechanical gauge

Oil pressure verified by mechanical gauge. New pressure sensor. No change

6500 hours when ECM was replaced last time this happened. 3600 hours now
