April 14, 2021 at 4:29 pm hello, i am looking to change to delco 28si to to my 2 cummins cpl 1928 engines. 1 160amp and 1 200amp. to run a air conditioner that uses 10 amp ac. i have a 5000w inverter. i plan to have a dedicated 8d battery for the air and and the 200 amp alt direct to that battery. the 160 amp alt will have a isolator that will go to the 4d engine and the 8d. i will have battery switches that can combine the batteries if needed. and i will have a low volt…
1 ReplyApril 15, 2021 at 1:05 pm i read your other post and you state the 28si do not like the diode type of isolator. would using the sense wire fix this? what isolator would you use? also i see the 28si is available in the long or j180 hinge. the long hinge is about .60″ longer than the short. will both fit? thanks again dale cote dreammaker charters cabo san lucas mex.

April 3, 2017 at 6:54 am is 5/16 hydraulic hoses ok for a zf 220a? thanks dale
2 RepliesApril 27, 2017 at 3:19 pm Totally missed this post……Sorry…………… The ZF220A needs at least #6 hyd hose with a minimum of a 2000 PSI WP rating for safety (SAE R1 or equal).. We prefer to use JIC #8 fittings even if use #6 hose(very common) .. #8 hose is also fine. Tony

March 30, 2017 at 3:39 pm You’ll notice now that the created topic will always stay on top of the topic page separate of the replies. In addition to that, the replies have been re-organized so that the newest reply is at the top of the page so they are in effect, “reversed” from how they were before. I have heard a few requests for this feature and so I implemented it… Let me know if this works better for everyone. Feedback is always appreciated.
