      April 14, 2021 at 4:29 pm hello, i am looking to change to delco 28si to to my 2 cummins cpl 1928 engines. 1 160amp and 1 200amp. to run a air conditioner that uses 10 amp ac. i have a 5000w inverter. i plan to have a dedicated 8d battery for the air and and the 200 amp alt direct to that battery. the 160 amp alt will have a isolator that will go to the 4d engine and the 8d. i will have battery switches that can combine the batteries if needed. and i will have a low volt…

      April 15, 2021 at 1:05 pm i read your other post and you state the 28si do not like the diode type of isolator. would using the sense wire fix this? what isolator would you use? also i see the 28si is available in the long or j180 hinge. the long hinge is about .60″ longer than the short. will both fit? thanks again dale cote dreammaker charters cabo san lucas mex.

      July 30, 2017 at 2:05 pm i recently bought a cummins 6bta reman block, from cummins not aftermarket my engine has the nipondenso pump the new one had the timing cover for the bosch pump, so i had to swap timing covers. i put a new seal in my old cover and installed. now i have a leak. thinking back i think the crank was sleeved, but not sure, my question are all seals the same? the engine is in a 31bertram and i have about 6 inches to work, would it be best to remove th…

      August 2, 2017 at 7:18 pm Our Impellers are made in from Italy, not China, and 7+ years of history have shown that our impellers out last the Sherwood product.. Tony

      April 27, 2017 at 3:19 pm Totally missed this post……Sorry……………   The ZF220A needs at least #6 hyd hose with a minimum of a 2000 PSI WP rating for safety (SAE R1 or equal).. We prefer to use JIC #8 fittings even if use #6 hose(very common) .. #8 hose is also fine.   Tony
