February 18, 2020 at 6:23 pm Thanks Tony blunt as always but Iā€™m sure you get sick of people doing what I did and asking instead of looking sorry! Your advice is spot on as always and I removed the coupler and stage 1 is failing, the local dealer has the parts and will rebuild the couplers! Thanks again for your advice saved me $$$ and learnt something in the process

March 20, 2017 at 6:24 am Ā Hi Guys,   I have had a double double system on the boat for two years now works great love the vacuum gauges! Ā Was doing the Annual winter maintenance and remembered that Brad had said to me that its typical to use 2/1 ratio of mud filters to the finer 1000 filters. Ā This made me wonder if I was doing the right thing at the annual maintenance by replacing all the filters in the fuel system? Ā (This is what I did last year) So my question i…

November 27, 2016 at 6:32 am Hi guys,   One of our engines 6Bta 370 has a vibration when underway, Ā I missed getting a pic of the mount that looks like it has failed but got some of the other mounts.   My question is what is the minimum height for a loaded barry Mount?   I measured from the top of the stringer to the bottom of the engine bracket. Ā This was 85mm. Ā can the Barry mount accommodate this? Pictures of existing mounts unfortunately didn’t get …

December 22, 2016 at 12:20 pm Andrew, Every engine room is going to be different as to how this is done due to access, clearances, etc.Ā  Working one mount at a time and to just take the weight off the mount, like a 1/16″ lift, you may be able to work with wood blocking under the corner of the pan and a wedge and hammer to get that slight lift to get the weight off the mount.Ā  Just remove the top nut from the mount first. If you need to do more than that then you should…
