      December 5, 2022 at 6:09 pm I have the opportunity to buy parts off of a 2012 6BTA-315 engine, I’m thinking: Turbo Charger, After Cooler, Fuel Pump and Injector Pump, Alternator, Fuel Injectors…etc., Are the parts compatible with the 6BTA5.9 M-3 engine model…?

      December 12, 2022 at 6:38 pm You decide what all you want to do and how deep you want to look/rebuild.. All is simple other that the Injection pump–When we send out a good working pump like yours to a good shop, it’s real easy to spend $3000- 3500 to have it gone thru / made as new, and “preserved” and shipped back to us.. New they are worth 5000-6500 if you can evenĀ  get one.Ā  Ā What overall shape was the engine in the parts came from? The aftercoole…

      March 21, 2021 at 6:14 pm I’m confused and perhaps not asking in a clear manor: What size thread so I need to replace the ZF 80A oil drain plug..? I ordered the oil drain lines from SB Marine late last year, and can’t use the drain line fittings due to the shaft coupler being in the way. What size ZF 90 degree sweep fitting do I need, the SAE 8 Flare or SAE 10 Flare ..? Thank you..

      July 10, 2017 at 12:00 pm I’ve installed Faria Synchronizers (Catalog #34601, Factory #SY9671) on my Cummins 6BTA-3M powered boat. So far, the synchronizers aren’t working as the needle/indicator jumps and I’ve tried to adjust the synchronizers per the instructions, no help/progress. Are the engines equipped with a magnetic or alternator tach. signal source…? Any idea’s..? Thank you..
