I have a problem with my starboard engine since I bought the boat in 2018 and now is the right time to take care of it. the machine runs perfectly, has no smoke, everything is fine, only the number of revolutions does not exceed 1800 revolutions under load. it easily goes up to 1800 rpm, but no further. in port it goes up to 2300 rpm without problems, I have not tried higher. 10 RepliesMarch 1, 2020 at 9:27 am I am back and can report. At first we did hull wash and antifouling. Then a test cruise. Now the starboard engine did 2.000 rpm under load. In port he did 2.760 rpm, that shows the strobe. The tach gauge shows 2.700. In idle the strobe shows 625 rpm.Last Post by:

5 years ago June 10, 2018 at 2:15 am Hello together, i buyed in april 2018 this boat and did maintance. The aftercooler in Tony´s way include pressure test, it was dry and good. Then inspecting the turbo, he has seen water, inside and outside ! The heatexchanger, I figured out, had an break inside. The hose had 5 mm rust inside. I did a trip, ½ hour, the engine was running fine. Now I was back and had a mechanic. He opened the cap near serialnr and it has a bit water. Then he re…
