May 15, 2017 at 3:12 pm Just installed 2 new aftercoolers and at the same time took the opportunity to install fresh water flushing. I do NOT have a water lift muffler and I have a good exhaust design which allowed me to design and install an engine OFF flush system. October 12, 2017 at 1:55 pm My port engine has raw water in it. I have pressure tested the heat exchanger and I can’t make it leak. How did the water get in there? What a mess.

May 4, 2020 at 9:04 am Hey guys, I just had this situation happen with my newly installed last August Cummins 5.9 6BTA 330hp. Oil full off raw water. Flushed engine immediately for the past two days after shutting off raw water. Finally have all clean oil coming out. All signs point to aftercooler failure but have not done further investigation. Engine had 9hrs on it. What was the outcome of the last post? Any suggestions while I try to get the install shop to help?
