      December 4, 2017 at 8:20 pm Iā€™d like to repair anything that might look suspicious. Having said that I definitely want to order the kit thatā€™s on sale for the coolers. Are they all the same for the 6cta 8.3s. Do I need to pull the pull cover to see what belts I need. This is a 2004 with about 1500 hrs. Pic number 1. Is my engine batts.       December 6, 2017 at 6:26 am Nothing jumping out at me as to what I can see on the helm that might be an alarm panel for your exhaust temp switch. Need to trigger it and see what it is connected to. Nice anchor, how do you like the Rocna – heard good things about them but have no first hand knowledge.       November 30, 2017 at 7:15 pm I have twin Cummins 450s 6cta 8.3 on a large boat. My batteries where bubbling out of the vents. 8d x 7. I have an inverter bank of two, house bank of two, one for each engine and one for my thruster. To start my alternator was swinging every few seconds from 14.7v to 12.7v I changed all my batteries and disconnected the heater for that engine. The swim stopped now itā€™s just charging. The batteries should be charged my inverter ran all night…

      December 3, 2017 at 4:20 pm I really appreciate that I can post these questions and to have someone of your caliber to answer. Under Tonyā€™s tips in the electrical section you have typical dc distribution. I have a manual switch on the combiner and I disconnected it. When I check voltage with the engine running thereā€™s only one battery being charged. Iā€™m getting the leads labeled. I ran each engine and checked the voltage on the batteries.
