I am about to change the oil on my transmissions:

    1. SEA 30, per manual?
    2. Where is the filter screen?
    3. How do I clean it?
    4. I understand that I want to change the oil within 2 minutes of running it?
    5. Is there anything else I need to know?

    Thanks.

Yes, SAE30 and 3 liters is the listed capacity.Ā  I always check the level before draining and then measure what is removed and use that as a refill reference and then adjust slightly if needed.Ā  See the attached documents for some additional info and diagram.Ā  As to cleaning the screen, I wipe it clean, blow it out and then flush with new oil.Ā  You can use something like mineral spirits if you feel the need but always finish your rinsing/cleaningĀ  the new clean oil.Ā  The 2 minutes you mentioned is for checking, not draining.Ā  As to anything else, yes, removing the magnet/screen hex nut needs a little added attention over your usual drain plug.Ā  The two issues are that it is TIGHT and it is very shallow.Ā  See the below link as to modifying a 36mm socket to get a full bite on the hex.Ā  I use a breaker bar with it.Ā  And the drain plug is 22mm.
