The Hex nut that is part of the magnetic screen is a shallow hex and is usually TIGHT. To get a more positive grip modify the socket on a bench grinder to remove the chamfer this way the socket walls make complete contact with the sides of the hex minimizing any damage or “rounding” of the hex. My 220A reguired a 36mm socket. A breaker bar is handy IF your engine “room” allows it. Be mindful to keep the socket seated firmly and square when applying pressure.
