      September 20, 2018 at 9:21 am I have the early corner expansion tank on a 6bta can it be changed to the larger front top tank design if so is it difficult.

      September 22, 2018 at 8:08 am Spend some time looking thru the pictures in the link.. You can “see” what you have now vs. where you need to go to plumb it like the newer engines.. There are a few variations, but the basics as all the same. The Large expansion tank is the hard one to find used and they are not cheap from Cummins. If you are a fabricator and have a lot of very free time, you could make one that would work better that what you have now. Cummins B-…

      September 21, 2018 at 6:01 am Hi my name is Dan I need any advice anyone can give. I will attach as many pics as the forum will let me. I like this boat and want to save it. I plan to trade my 2008 Corvette with 40K miles for it. All I currently know is the boat engine, trans, and V drive all work well do not know total hours I have been a fan of cummins and Albin. But not sure am I getting in over my head. Boat is rough but I still like it. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

      September 21, 2018 at 1:35 pm She’s a single screw. Tony figured twin screw based on the size of the boat. Yes, not a lot of engine for this boat and at anything over hull speed it is always working and always trying to climb over the hump. Albin added a hull extension in later years of this model and it was renamed the 32+2. It was a molded in hull extension in the form of a swim platform to give the boat some lift. See attached.
