      February 23, 2021 at 1:16 pm So…. Just how important is that gasket between the pump and the drive… The one I forgot to install lol.

Its a good job its likely to leak oil as if a sherwood pump is going back on there will be plenty of oil to protect the engine mount bracket, bolts and mount from the salt water that will be pouring out of it soon šŸ™‚ Steve

      July 9, 2020 at 7:26 am Hey all, Engine will roll over but does not start! Electric solenoid at governor this is not getting energized to stay in the run position…. No gauges on the dash as well.. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Chris 04 Meridian 459

      July 19, 2020 at 5:28 pm You are not getting battery power to your “ignition” circuit. You ARE getting power to your “starter” and your “cranking” switch or button. This is certainly an “electrical” problem of a corroded or loose wire or connection or a circuit breaker / fuse. Do you have twin engines? If so get in there with a test light and compare the 2 systems to see where you are having the loss of power. If single …
