      June 1, 2022 at 7:47 am Anyone know what this code is the engine wonā€™t crank. The fuel pump turns on and so does the screen but not crank to engine. Yes battery is good.

All the wiring is fine and all has power the default codes were from me removing the I switched wires from engine and battery for weeks Iā€™m assuming I reset the mini command and it no longer shows errors or codes so this issue Iā€™m assuming is seperate

      March 18, 2022 at 4:57 pm So I decided to do a full service in my qsc engines. Started as just after coolers, then found a leak in my coolant on heat exchangers so decided to do the same pull and clean process for them. lots of work but well worth it I think.       March 11, 2022 at 6:20 pm So someone told me my turbo shouldnā€™t look like this. 2011 qsc 8.3 with 1200 hours. This one was slightly stuck from sitting few months I think? Literally tapped it with a screw driver and it spins freely. Cause for concerns? Also is there any maitance or cleaning that can be done for turboĀ

      May 1, 2021 at 6:57 pm I’m not sure there is a 1,000 hour service and I’d guess there isn’t. Just looking at the end of the AC cores means nothing. You need to remove them, clean them, lube back up and assemble. You can do this yourself, if you get a little luck. Because if you don’t, when it comes time that you need to remove them, you might not be able to. So do that every 2-3 yrs. religiously. What trans do you have btw? Regardless of t…

      May 3, 2019 at 4:14 am So I notice the other day when the boat is cruising letā€™s say anything above 1500rpms my port gear temp is 95 degrees and my starboard is 75 degrees (according to my digital dash board) I checked the oil itā€™s clean and smells and looks good…not burnt or anything…. Attached is the best picture I can get if my transmission numbers, not sure what tranny I have or how to find info on it. Maybe tony can help?

You could have any number of alternators and not way to tell without more info. Matter of fact, post up pictures from top, bottom back, front etc. Standing by to help….

      November 22, 2018 at 3:57 am Chris, learn to use the search function on the sbmar main site, Corey puts hours and hours into making the site what it is today. A simple search term of “qsc zinc” finds you the two attached images for the QSC zincs As to the gear, I asked for “exact model”…. you don’t go to the parts counter and tell them you need an oil filter for a Chevy… we are all here to help but please help us help you.

The more I got to thinking about it the less I wanted ” Block heaters ” especially high wattage ones.
