      January 25, 2022 at 12:14 pm Hi chris here Iā€™m new to this so pls excuseĀ  Ā  I have a 5.9 qsb with smart craft gages . Engine wonā€™t start I use every day in Summer Ā not a lot winter time commercial fishing .. engine was running fine staring fine then suddenly would not start ??? I changed crank shaft sensor as a code did come up .. did t help still not starting .. changed filters and racor did see little water in racor ..so drained fuel filter out looked good clean no water …

      January 26, 2022 at 3:56 am Not sure if it a the same, but on a engine that sat for a few year.Ā  Ive had the ceramic HP fuel pump plungers lock up before on a QSC if its the same pump? I don’t believe that CumminsĀ  call it a serviceable part?Ā

      May 17, 2019 at 7:06 pm White smoke from exhaust just started after 2600 hours only at high rpm 1900-2950 rpm check fuel pressure and injectors changed smx water pump thought maybe impeller was week and causing to steam out exhaust still smoking ?? Changed all racors and fuel filter again still smoking but not as bad still noticeable .. little to no exhaust smoke until today .. coolant level is same (full) not loosing coolant any help would be appreciated

      May 18, 2019 at 4:43 am It seems you have not made the determination as to what you are seeing being either “white smoke” or “steam.” That is where to start or you’ll be chasing twice as many tails as you need to. Are you leaving a smoke trail or is it disappearing behind you?
