      August 14, 2018 at 6:57 am I have a pair of 2007 Cummins 6BTA 5.9 330hp engines. Anytime I give it fuel I have black smoke. I have changed the air filters, checked the turbo, all air hoses for leaks, cleaned the aftercoolers and I still can not find the problem. On the starboard engine I can see black smoke coming out somewhere closer to back of engine somewhere around the belt . The port RPMā€™s comes up faster then the starboard.       August 14, 2018 at 2:22 pm The CC 28’s and 32’s are infamous for there poor exhaust design issues allowing water back into the turbos and the tight overhead engine room space that prevents the install of safe risers. Post some good pictures of your engines and exhaust. Post your full history of the boat, any prior issues, maintenance and exactly how you use it. What does “cleaning the aftercoolers” mean?
