Apro.mwParticipantFound the no start issue. It appears that the after cooler was leaking internally and water was entering the engine. No compresion on cyl # 4 annd five and the intake valves as seen with a scope are totally gunked up with black sludge. I put a leak down guage on #4 and its just blasting the compressed air into the intake. It appears the intake valves are not seating. I’m speculating that it was blowing the exhaust into the intake and that helped to gunk everything up. Will Remove the head for further inspection. Anyone experience this type of failure before? Any ideas on what I can expect when I pull the head off?. Hoping the pistons are OK and I can just fix that after cooler and the head.

Apro.mwParticipantPulled the injection pump off and sent to local diesal shop. They said pump is fine. I am stumped. Was getting no fuel at injectors when i removed the lines and cranked the engine. Will remove injectors and have them tested but out of ideas. Seems to be good fuel supply up to injection pump. Any ideas or a direction to go in would be appreciated. Will reinstall pump and start from scratch.

Apro.mwParticipantNo guages. Has new filters and the primer pumps are pumping fuel no problem. Does not appear to be a restriction. Pumps out of the filter on the engine mounted filter. When i prime it.
