    I need to pull the filter screens on a pair of ZF286A marine gears. Does anyone know the size of the socket and Allen key for these plugs? The port engine is a hex nut and the starboard is an Allen key. Not sure why there’s a difference.

    I read Robā€™s article but didnā€™t want to assume the 220 and 286A were the same as I have to go and buy this socket. Also, curious as to the size of the Allen key vs. socket on the other gear.
