ZF280 leaked some oil at cooler

Cruising today zf280 fell out of gear(electric shift) I stop and would not go into fwd.

Oil was leaking from cooler at joint with cooler cap.

Checked oil, was not contaminated, but over filled, recent oil change, I took out 16oz/500ml, which brought oil to 3/4 to full.

I run another hour and no leak or issues, gage says 350-370psi in drive.

I will take apart cooler later, I’m in Bahamas this week 

So….does over filled oil cause “over pressure” on zf280?

I need this to last 3 more  days!
