The boat has been dry docked for awhile and I see the milky white-ish in the tube on the marine gear. It’s the ZF 301, 1.862/1, serial number 92.4572. Any suggestions on the way/s to flush it out ?

Suck the gear dry out the bottom drain plug on the gear. Remove the oil lines going the the gear cooler and flush it it too uses #2 diesel and then air to blow it out… Replace the oil filter with new

Let’s SEE how milky the oil is before to do a fresh oil start-up.
