This morning when leaving dock and increasing rpm’s past 700 ish on port engine, I get water temp alarm on the Sea Ray systems monitor. If decrease rpm’s alarm goes away.
Dash gauge temp and engine mounted gauge both at 160 or so, and using temp gun to check temps at different locations all seem normal and similar to starboard engine which had no alarm. When I check the exhaust for water flow it has water flowing.
What should I check for? Thank you!

After stopping for the night I dug into it. Turned out to be the nut for the temp sensor got loose and I’m guessing any time I advanced throttle the vibrations changed and caused loose wire to trip alarm.
I went ahead and removed the wire, washers, nut and cleaned and re installed and all fine rest of trip home.
    Thanks for the help

That is coolant temperature, not exhaust water temp, right? Was it a one and done alarm or did it persist each time you try to advance rpms? Sounds like a glitch if all else is showing normal. Is it a major PITA to switch the monitors between P & S ?
