Warning Troll

I recently installed a wet qsm11 which came with a smartcraft vesselview 4. Right off the bat is has a “warning troll” on the display that cannot be cleared. After talking to Mercury tech support they started it is a compatibility issue with Cummins and cannot be removed. Anyone else run into this issue?

You will not like my answer————–SmartCraft, AKA something I cannot put is print anymore, has no place on a Cummins engine. Why?–Simple……… There are no answers for the glitches, and a minimum of support from the Cummins distributor that profited from the sale of the engine…A sad situation that Cummins needs to address.

As to alternatives—-Plenty of 100% rock solid options based on the SAE electronic standard your engine was built with, and has as it as “built-in genes” ………..Who ever sold you the engine should have offered those options and explained it all before you wrote the check.

Who did you buy the engine and / or equipment from?
