    Tiara 3300 diesel conversion.

My interest is converting our crusader gas to diesel on our 87 Tiara flybridge 3300…

What size side exhaust is factory on the Tiara 3300 1987 with crusader 7.4?

    4″ into 5″ I think….

Is that enough for 330 diamond Cummins diesel?

Our intentions are to install diamond series Cummins 330. I Have 1 engine installed in a strike 26 with 300 hours. Looking for another engine and Trans, then selling our crusaders 7.4 with only 140 hours after rebuild.

I think our shafts are 1-1/2″ but I think I must replace with stronger SS grade.

My concern is exhaust diameter going out.. I Know they fit.

Anyone done this conversation on this model.??

I donĀ“t want to hack up side exhaust I have.

    Any information would be appreciated.

There is way more to designing a proper exhaust system than just a “diameter number”…. the number of 90’s, the lengths of the runs, the mufflers and their internal baffles, outlet size, etc. A full exhaust diagram is needed. May even decide to do a one-on-one with Tony if this gets complex…
