I have a 1993 Carver 440Cummins 6cta8.3I will be cruising the great loop starting this March. My cruising speed will be at about 1300 to 1500 rpm 90 % of the time. I have been told that cruising at this rpm I should have 180 degree thermostats installed because these engines do better at 180 deg at the low load I will be running at. What are your thoughts Thanks Joe Ā  Ā  Ā  Coleman
