I’ve established already through this forum that my exhaust is all downhill, and I can hook up a FWF setup into the port on the seawater pump for engine off flushing.

Can I flush 2 motors at the same time with dockside water pressure? It sure would make plumbing easier as I already have a single line running up to my AC seawater pump and genny that I’d like to tap off of.

Also, sidebar, I just finished removing my entire seawater circuit and bench service……coolers, etc…….and I must say……if FW flushing prevents me from having to do this job again for many years then SIGN ME UP!!!!!! Lol.

I flush simultaneously all of the time

I flush the engines simultaneously. Dock water pressure is pretty decent. Since the very first time I tried it I make sure that there is adequate water flow out the exhaust. I also feel the back of the raw water pumps to make sure that neither are warm. They have never been warm. A am confident that there is plenty of water flow.

I tend to let the flushing procedure go a bit longer (4-5 minutes) to ensure that there is nothing but fresh water in the raw water circuit when shut down. It’s a great feeling to know that the engines are sitting in fresh water for those long stretches between uses in the off season.

Zincs have been lasting me 8 to 12 months.

Can you? Most likely – but I can’t see your water pressure. If you hooked it up that way I’d suggest flushing as you intend to and just before you finish taste the water. If it’s clean then your good.

Anything is better than no flush at all, however you can’t flush too much so a little effort to plumb all individually might be worth it in the long run.
