My 2016 QSM 11 now has 3945 hours on it.  At what point do I consider rebuilding the raw water pump and for that matter, the coolant pump.  No issues or signs of issues, my yard swaps in a new impeller each winter.

<br />also, I can’t find a QSM rebuild kit in the store, does one exist?

Different Cummins engine.  This is general for any RWP.

I put on about 150 to 200 hrs yearly and  rebuild my RWP every  5 yrs.

I  don’t put on nearly the hours in 5 years you do but time also matters.

I am going to suggest that a full rebuild and inspection be done of the RWP now.

The back  wear plate, the cam fingers including the screw that hold it in place, the mechanical seal for the shaft to the outside, the front or cover plate, the impellor shaft    can all wear out and waiting for a failure could be trouble.

It’s good that you get the impeller changed yearly but there are other wear points that need to be checked.
