Hi Tony,

I have a manual hydraulic steering system that I am finishing installing with a Capilano Variable Displacement Pump and a Wagner Piston. What type of fluid would you recommend for a system like this?

The older Capilano pumps all recommended straight Dextron Spec ATF..

So you wouldn’t cut the Dextron with Diesel?

I’ll let Tony chime in but we usually recommend 3 parts Dextron Spec ATF to 1 part Diesel…
