Just serviced oil and heading back to the slip. Motors are at cruise power about 2200 rpm of 2880. I hit a wave while reaching for the trim switch and my fat finger bumped the stop switch on the port engine shutting it down.

Stopped the boat, tried to restart and couldnā€™t get the mistaken shut down motor to turn over. Finally realize it was still in gear put it in nuetral and started right up. The boat ran fine home but now Iā€™m obsessing that I may have damaged that turbos bearings. Does the prop ā€œwindmillā€ the motor as it spins down? What do you guys think and how would I know if I did cause damaged?

    Thanks! Joe

    Joe,

Sorry–Missed your post and a few others..

Anyway, not to worry although not good to make habit of it..But I am sure you already know that.
