6BTA Over-Propped - Cummins Marine Forum

I have a 6BTA I am not reaching my maximum rpm. Am I over-propped? I have 24″x24″ Federal Bronze Shaft 1 3/4″ and a ZF220 Transmission. Before I bring the props to the shop is there anything I can do to make sure they are an issue?
