August 8, 2019 at 6:22 am Have you considered rebuilding your alternator? Any good alternator/starter motor repair guy can do it. I had my Delco Remy 105 amp alternator rebuilt ($160) to include regulator, diode trio, battery post, and a 160 amp stator. This Delco frame can take a 200 amp stator. In 14 years I’ve had this alternator rebuilt twice. Both times where failures in components due to salt air environment. For the last couple of years, I pull the alt…

October 18, 2017 at 3:10 am From my own experience, I have yet to find two engines in a vessel that operate much closer that you have.. Under some conditions they something seem very even, and then they don’t under others….Look at the attached pic & always work that into the equation.. I have learned this is be true with most all of the operating parameters on the digital screen.. Besides fwd & rev gear ratios (Clutch Pos A vs. Pos B) are not always…

September 30, 2017 at 8:12 am No synthetic engine oil for me either. Simply a waste of money. Do your oil changes on time hour wise, use a Fleetguard premium oil filter and prop the engine according to Seaboard specs for electronic engines. I use Shell Rotella 15-40 T4 or Mobil Delvac 1300 15-40 Valvoline is fine too.
