    My Cummins 480CE engines are equipped with ZF Cruise Commander throttle and transmission controller. I sometimes get error codes 44 and 45. Anyone know what these codes mean.

    ZF manual

    Yes located manual 250 pages worth. I got that error because of testing my port engine when I turn on Cruise sometimes do not get tone from unit. Already cleaned every contact and it’s improved but not perfect yet. Next I will check switch on my breaker panel. Thanks

    Quick google search got me that. Page 95 is the start of the error code chart. 44 and 45 indicate a time out error on coms. might look at all of the connections for cleanliness and good contact.
