    I searched Tony’s Tips and could not find anything on this, but my ZF280-1A with electric shift will go into forward gear at idle and low RPM, but falls out under loads above 1500 RPM, and there is vibration at that point. Solenioids have been swapped and troubleshot to find no issues. No issues in reverse. Could a clogged filter be the issue? Note that when it does go into forward it is delayed a second or two.Ā

    Why not start with a full & proper service of your gear………………….. Oil filter screen & magnetic plug
