    I am putting a pair of QSB 425 RTO in a boat here in Panama and I am really trying to understand what electronic display I could install economically. The engines are Smartcraft V1.0 and are coming with the smartcraft harness. Is there an easy way to pull the J1939 out of the smartcraft junction box and run it to the VDO Oceanlink display. It seems I can buy 1 7″ display and plug two j1939 engines into it and it would convert to NMEA 2000 all for $900 bucks… All assuming I could tap into the j1939 at the harness.

    I know that SMX has a setup for this but if I can get this done using only the 1 display i would like to understand if it is an option.
