I’m sure we’re all well aware of “The Seaboard Way” when it comes to S/W aftercooler preemptive maintenance, but here’s a few pics to bolster why it should be done, and if at all possible, fresh water flush after each use.

Here’s some pics of mine coming apart last night, first time since splash 6 years ago. They were reassembled the correct way prior to splashing and always fresh water flushed.

They came apart beautifully, slid right out and are immaculate. A little oil/water condensation on the back side of the cores but consistent between the pair and nothing to be concerned about.

Thanks to the SeaBoard team too for delivering my recent order of parts so briskly. 4 days to Australia is bloody good.

I am sure Tony will be pleased to see those pics, Terry. All those parts look great considering the service interval from last time apart.
