I’ve installed new fuel filters and new air filters.  I’ve cleaned the compressor wheels and cleaned up the aftercoolers (as per Seaboard Marine kit). When she’s running, the Starboard side runs rich compared to the port side.  The starboard is original to the boat at 1994 with 570 hours, the port is a 2017 with about the same number of hours (on the hour meters at least).  Since I am unfamiliar with how much these engines should “smoke,” I thought I would post a link to a google video of the engines running at 1800 RPM in neutral.

Is the blue tinted smoke normal for these engines? Blue would tell me unburned fuel or oil? How do I get more air or less fuel into her?  OR is this something where the injectors would needs to be further tested. OR is this some loose rings letting some oil blow by?

    Link to Run Video (google)

    Thank you in advance!

    What engines?  Mechanical 6BTA’s?

That would be normal at startup if they have not been taken out and put under load and brought up to normal running temps, especially if you’re pumping up the rpm’s at the dock.
