    Hi everyone

I have a 2006 391, I replace the old Northstar 6000 with a Garmin GPS, I bought the Mercury Gateway and installed on the junction box and on the network and I can see the info of both engines on the Garmin and the tachs are working. But if I take out the old northstar gateway from the juntion box my tachs start acting weird and then lost engine comm message apears ob the LCD screen. Anyone has had this situation when replacing the GPS

    Hi Corey

I bought it from a local Cummins Authorized dealer
But even without it installed the gauges do the same

Well all I know is that recently there have been some compatibility issues with the NMEA gateways from Mercury…

You did really answer my questions about the gateway… where did you source it? When did you source it? It’s possible that it’s not 100% compatible…

First question, where did you source the gateway from and how do you know it’s 100% compatible?

What exact instrumentation do you have for your QSB’s?
