Repowering, unsure of gear/prop

Hey everyone, I feel like a dummy asking this but I’m repowering my boat I just bought and I’m getting some conflicting info on which gear/prop to match. The boat is a 31′ JC. Currently has a 210 cat 3208 with a 1:1 v drive. I’m looking to put a qsb 380 to direct drive. My prop guy says he needs the gear before he can tell me which prop and the gear guy is telling me he needs the prop to be sure. It looks to me like a zf 80-1 a or zf 85a may be the right fit with a 22-24″ wheel. If anyone can help me get the right answer I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
